Meeting Schedule: The Centralina Workforce Development Board meets the second Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. The meeting place is generally a central location in the region (such as the Cabarrus Regional Chamber in Kannapolis or Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in Concord). WDB members receive a notice and agenda of the meetings at least 10 days prior to the scheduled meeting date. The meeting place will be posted on the meeting notice. A quorum (majority of members either present or represented by proxy) is required for voting on issues at the meetings. |

Applications are retained on file for two years.Vacancies on the various boards and committees are advertised on the County's Web site, the Government Channel (Channel 16), and by notice posted at both the Union County Government Center and the Union County Judicial Center.
The Clerk to the Board oversees the recruitment process and memberships to the various boards, committees, and commissions. Union County has approximately 24 citizen-based boards, committees, and commissions on which over 230 citizens serve. Letters of appointment, non-appointment, and appreciation are prepared by the Clerk's office.
