Pay Plan

About the Pay Plan:

"... FOR A GREAT PLACE TO WORK "

The Union County Pay Plan is intended to provide equitable compensation for all positions when considered in relation to each other, to general rates of pay for similar employment in the private sector and in other public jurisdictions in the area, and to other financial factors.

...GETTING PAID

Union County employees are paid on a bi-weekly pay cycle. There is a one-week delay between the end of a pay period and the date employees are paid. The payroll calendar shows the pay period, period covered, and the actual pay date.

Direct deposit with e-notice is a fast, easy, secure way to get paid.

All employees hired after February 14, 2003 are required to use direct deposit. Employees may choose to direct deposit into either one or two separate bank accounts. Account information is required at the time of new employee orientation.

e-notice... for convenience, you may elect to have the pay notice of direct deposit e-mailed directly to you.
