Foster Care is providing a temporary home to a child when the child is unable to remain in his or her own home due to the parents’ inability to provide care for the child.

Foster Care Services are designed to:

• Strengthen, preserve and/or reunite families after the children are placed into agency custody;
• Ensure a stable, safe, and nurturing temporary living environment; and
• Achieve a safe and permanent home for all children in agency custody.
