The Program Integrity Unit aids the Union County Department of Social Services in maintaining integrity and accountability in the administration of Social Service Programs. We also assist with the detection and prevention of suspected fraud or abuse in these programs, as well as the following; investigation of suspected over issuance in public assistance programs, establishing claims, recovery of overpayments through administrative procedures and criminal prosecution.
