- Lodging Establishments are places providing lodging accommodations for pay. These include hotels, motels, inns, and some homes.
- To operate a lodging establishment one must possess a valid permit from this Department. To obtain a permit return a completed Bed Breakfast Inns / Homes Application.
- A Bed & Breakfast Home is a private home offering Bed & Breakfast Accommodations to 8 people or less persons per night for a period of less than a week.
- A Bed & Breakfast Inn is a business of not more than 12 guest rooms that offers Bed & Breakfast Accommodations and at least 9 but no more than 23 persons per night for a period of less than one week; and that:
- Does not serve food or drink to the general public for pay;
- Serves only the breakfast menu, and the meal is served only to overnight guests of the business;
- Includes the price of breakfast in the room rate; and
- Is the permanent residence of the owner of the manager of the business.
