About the Board of Adjustments:
Also under the umbrella of the Inspection Department is the Board of Adjustment. The powers and duties of the Board of Adjustment are: appeals from any order, decision, requirement, or interpretation made by the administrator, applications for special use permits, applications for variances, questions involving interpretations of the zoning map, including disputed district boundary lines and lot lines, and any other matter the board is required to act upon by the county ordinance.
