About Camping Area:

Cane Creek Park’s Camping Area is sure to have the campsite and amenities to fit your individual or group need. InCamping the Family Camping Area you can relax at one of 108 campsites overlooking Cane Creek Lake. Each campsite can accommodate a maximum of six people. Some campsites are available with water and electricity, while others also have sewer. Each site comes with a fireplace/grill combo and picnic table. Bathhouses are available close by with warm showers. There is also a camp store nearby stocked with concession items, firewood, ice, picnic, and fishing supplies for your convenience. Other amenities of the Family Camping Area include playgrounds, an arcade, miniature golf course, beach,( Open weekends Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend when Park Life Guards are available) play field and basketball court, boat ramp, boat dock, and dump station. For more information or to make reservations call 704-843-3919.

Camping at Cane CreekIn addition Cane Creek offers Wilderness camping. This area is restricted to tents only and offers no hookups. Campers must park in the designated parking area and walk in a short distance to a campsite. Wilderness campsites can accommodate a maximum of five people with two tents. A bathhouse is within walking distance. The park has nine wilderness sites and they are available at a first-come first-serve basis.

For larger groups, Cane Creek Park offers a Group Camping Area. The park offers small group sites (20 people/4 tent max) and large group sites (30 people/6 tent max). Group sites do not have water or electricity on site. A bathhouse is located within walking distance.

Also located in the Group Camping Area are six (6) rustic cabins. Our cabins can accommodate up to six (6) people. The cabins come equipped with electricity, two (2) sets of bunk beds, (1) double bed, dorm size refrigerator, heating and cooling unit, outdoor fire place/grill, and picnic table outside. A bathhouse is located within walking distance. Campers must provide their own linens. Pets, smoking, and cooking are prohibited inside the cabin.

For campers who would like to stay longer Cane Creek Park offers Annual Camp sites. Annual sites have paved drives, with water and sewer available. Separate electric meters allow the lessee party to contact the local power company and have the account placed in his/her name. These sites are in high demand and may require that your name to be put on a waiting list. Please call the Park’s Operation Center at 704-843-3919 for more information.
